Person Centred Pathways is actively recruiting caring and dedicated individuals to join our team as support workers. Our home care agency is one of the best in the industry, supplying hourly or live-in care for elderly and physically disabled individuals. A vital part of our team, you'll be working with people who rely on us to help them not just survive, but thrive in their daily lives. We're looking for people like you who can make a difference. Main Duties:

  • Help adults with dressing, showering, using the toilet, and moving around.
  • Give individuals their medicines and reminders to take them.
  • Help people get to the place they need to go.
  • Plan and prepare meals.
  • Do light housework—for instance, folding laundry or picking up a room.
  • Help adults with physical disabilities do everyday tasks, like going up or down the stairs or getting in or out of a car.

Desired Requirements for the Best Candidate:

  • Ability to put oneself in another person's shoes and to really understand them.
  • Genuinely and strongly caring about the lives and well-being of adults who really can't take care of themselves without your help.
  • Being someone who can be counted on to do what they say they'll do, and who doesn't lose sight of the fact that the success of the team is also individual success.
  • Having worked in a similar role before, for some amount of time (even just a little).
  • Being able to work all day or all night with a group of people without getting fed up and leaving.
  • Having a driver's license, though not required, is really nice because then you can use your own car to drive clients places.
